Our chapter "A SEED TOWARDS REGENERATIVE FILMMAKING" argues that although cinema often exposes environmental and social conflicts, in many cases it relies on contaminating practices, creating a tension between message and method. This chapter explores Regenerative Filmmaking, going beyond harm reduction to actively integrate ecological care with emotional well-being, collaboration, and circular production. Eleven guiding agreements frame film sets as living ecosystems, inviting filmmakers to make films that can restore ecosystems, strengthen communities, and transform cultural narratives.
